Following the conclusion of the most recent trilogy, Disney planned to dig even deeper and go further in terms of expanding the Star Wars universe. The initial plan was to have the movie hit the theatres in the end of 2022. However, the release of the new Star Wars movie is going to be put on hold for one year, together with a number of other projects. This development will cause a domino effect on the overall plan for the new Star Wars trilogy, as the next two movies will be pushed back even further. With the new release period for the first movie being Christmas 2023, the second movie will move to Christmas 2025 and the third movie to Christmas 2027. This means that Star Wars fans will have to wait seven years until the new story reaches its climax.

Theoretically speaking, if the movie were to be released on time, then we would probably be watching its first teaser trailer right about now. Unfortunately, this is not going to happen, so fans will need to look for other ways to pass the time until then. A very good way to relax and to blow off some steam is to play online games. Irrespective of what you feel like watching, Disney has a library that can keep you entertained for many evenings and weekends. It might not be enough to keep your mind off the next Star Wars movie, but it will help push the time until December of 2023.
