    Canon is attractive to me. I do not think it is stupid. I think it is creative and a cool attempt to make Star Wars like history, and less like a kid’s fairy tale. Canon allows for an ever-expending story to be unfolded in depth and time. And yes, it’s spelled canon, not cannon. Cannon is a weapon. Maybe try to use kinder language than “stupid”; it’s demeaning and doesn’t help unite fandom.
