Nathan once again attended ConCarolinas this year, and, as is tradition, he recorded the year’s Star Wars panel for listeners who were unable to attend. On the panel for this year’s discussion are professional costumer Cheralyn Lambeth (also a member of the 501st and Rebel Legion), Kathy Johnson (501st member, wife of 501st founder Albin Johnson, and mother of Katie Johnson, whose story is recounted on the panel), Tom Hutchens (founder of the Mandalorian Mercs costuming group), and Nathan (whom listeners know by now). We hope you enjoy this on-site recording and brief recounting of the convention.

Really, really enjoyed this bonus panel discussion. I’ll admit, when I first saw it in my feed, I considered just deleting, as panels often lose something for me when I don’t hear them live and in-person. This one, however, was terrific. I enjoyed the discussions about the early days of the 501st and always enjoy learning more about that wonderful organization. Thank you for recording the panel and for sharing it with us!
